Monday Mario

I have not dropped off the face of the earth, though it may seem that way. My blog reader is bursting at the seams and I owe all of you two race reports (soon to be three), a big announcement (which has now come and gone), and an exciting bit of news (which has by now become mundane). But I will get to all of that in the next two weeks, hopefully.

I refuse to owe you one grumpy bunny so am getting "Monday Mario" up as scheduled.

Mario and his various cardboard accoutrements

Sadly, that long tube is too long to leave down on the ground all the time (it basically goes up to the ceiling) and Mario is too fat to be able to run through that smaller one. And even with all that tasty cardboard lying around, his favorite chew items are still the dining room chairs (the extra one making a cameo appearance in the background there).

Everyone knows it's best not to keep a bunny waiting. And just what do you mean "Mario is too fat"? The tube is too narrow!!!He knows that cardboard tubes do not last long, he is "saving" them and is chewing on the chairs b/c that will be a long-term project. Interesting how the passage of time reduces the perceived impact of events: the long view of history, I suppose.

All I can tell you about the chef rabbit is that Shell May of Raspberry Rabbits got it at an antique store and on the bottom it says handmade for mud pie.
Thanks for the belated wishes, we can't wait to here your news!

i thought it was gonna be a video of mario trying to squeeze thru the tube, getting stuck w/ his butt sticking out, and, well... you know, the whole thing w/ rubber bands and all, or just watching him shake his booty trying to get out.

Everybun knows that the more toys you provide, the more the bunny prefers to chew on something else.

We're just getting all caught up as well. Love the tube! Freckles has absolutely no fat and neither does Mario by the looks of things so they both should squeeze through tubes -- no problem =:-)

It's an optical illusion - actually Mario is MUCH smaller and the tube is MUCH bigger!

I cannot believe to posted the words Mario is too fat....no that is not the problem, Mario is too CUTE for the tube that is way he doesn't fit.

Ahhh, I want race reports and news!! Wheee, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for these announcements.

Bodger loves cardboard tubes too, though we have to take them away before he ingests too much.
