For TIaRT at the Runners' Lounge the theme is: "Signs you would love to see while running your race."
There are a couple that come to mind that have made me laugh, but only one that really inspired me.
At about mile 21 of the 2005 New York City Marathon, someone had a sign that read:
"The first 20 are run on legs; The last 6.2 are run on heart"
It made me a little teary and kept me going.
I fully intend to make my own sign of this one day to cheer on marathoners.

Oh, that is a good sign! I haven't heard that one before. My brain is normally so out of it that I can't remember any good signs I've seen, although I know Sharpie had some amusing ones up at the marathon this year.
By they way, I tagged you over on my blog. Check out my last post if you want to play along!
ohhh new york :) maybe i will be there one day!
I love that quote. I think that's a shortened version of something like, "First 10 miles you run with your legs, second 10 miles you run with your mind and the last 6.2 you run with your heart." Or something like that. So glad I found you! You're like, right there!
