Gosh, I'm terrible & I'm just reading this now. Holding that hard of a pace for so long is a definite challenge, but look at all the progress you've made in just a matter of MONTHS. It's mind-blowing, really. Sure, we all have off-days and on-days, and while your heart & your ankle might not have been there with you in Modesto, you still executed a mighty fine race.
