Mario often places his little ring toy into his food bowl.
Bunny art?
Protest against an empty bowl?
You decide.
I figured Cliff would post a comment about how this is a lame "Monday Mario," if I stopped with just the above photo. So I also got this shot of what Mario was doing while I admired his handiwork (which is apparently admiring his handiwork, too).

Definitely bunny art. Could be worth millions one day... :)
I think maybe Mario sees the dish as a place to put important things, food and toys for example.
Art installation is an organic, fluid process. Mario needs to look at it from all angles, to assess its essence, and whether it speaks to him in its current location. He is most emphatically not being "lazy". He is misunderstood and unappreciated, like many artists. And like many artists, he needs special care and feeding. When did you say you were filling up that bowl?
Must. Snorgle. Mario. Tummy.
mario is so flipping cute i cant handle it! I just love his furness! he makes me want to get a furbaby just like him to set free romaing in my house!
HAHAHA!!!!! yes, i would definitely have said that!
mario was probably imagining his toy was his prey!
Inspiration comes from many activities ... Savannah puts her fleecy in the water bowl while Lucky drapes his ear in.
Maybe he's playing Cornhole (that bean bag toss game where you try to get it into the hole)?
Love flopped out buns.
what the little artist! :)
It's Relevant Art. He is Hungry, and also Talented.
