Monday Mario

I recently got two shipments which had boxes stuffed with packing paper.  Mario looooves shredding paper.  Usually I stuff it in his cardboard tunnel, but I left some of the paper under my desk for a day since his tunnel was freshly filled.

Paper overload!

I was taking Mario's photo and he was sitting here for a couple of minutes:

Every now and then, he'd fling his head up to get that piece off his head.

But then it would fall right back onto him.  So funny.

Forget fancy toys, all this rabbit needs is some paper.  He's like a kid who gets a new toy and only wants to play with the box.

My public service announcement for the week:  Pumpkin Ice Cream is back at Trader Joe's!

Last year, I only got my hands on one container of this.  And I only got that one container because I happened to walk by right when a worker was putting them into the case.  Every other time I went back they were all sold out.  And then pumpkin season ended and there were many tears.

I walked by the ice cream case this week and saw only TWO of these suckers left.  I grabbed one quickly and debated whether I should just get them both.  I don't know what I was thinking but I figured we still had months left in pumpkin season and I'd grab a fresher one down the road, and oh, Boyfriend had just brought home two pints of Ben and Jerry's so did we really need two containers of this?  When I recapped the story to Boyfriend he said, "WHY DIDN'T YOU GET THEM BOTH?!"  Neither of us are huge pumpkin fans but we both agree this is the best ice cream we have ever had.  I eat it and am immediately filled with warm fuzzy holiday feelings.

As we savored every bite last night, we both agreed if there are multiple containers in the freezer the next time, I am totally in my sane mind to bring home five of them.  I asked, "What if there are ten of them left?"  Boyfriend seriously thought for a second and said, "Nah, just stick to the five."

Love that Mario! Pants is the same way. If children were that easy to entertain, I would have them.

Mr. Mick is a paper-lovin' bun as well. I recently got two deliveries from Amazon that had the long pieces of brown packing paper, so Mick has been in his glory; shredding, tossing, dancing in-out-and-around the loops of paper. Now I just have to keep hubby from tossing the paper out by mistake.
