Monday Mario
Does your rabbit talk? My childhood rabbit, Thumper, was a typical girl and used to grunt at me when she was displeased. I've heard Mario do his love honks as he ran circles around my feet. I've sadly also heard a bunny scream when Mario decided to play the tough bunny with his bond mate (this is seriously one of the most blood-curdling things I've ever heard). Only in the last few months have I become aware that Mario gives little squeaks when he either washes his face or drinks water. The other morning I was up early and the world was still very quiet. Mario started to drink water and emit his little squeaks. I quickly grabbed the camera and was able to capture it. Turn your volume way up (the loudest squeak comes 3 seconds into the video)!

i had a bunny named thumper when i was growing up.
i also know the screeching sound you refer too... my first rabbit had ear mites and i heard him at the vet when they had to scrape them out :( not fun.

Aww...Mario's a sweetie! Cadbury does the honking thing too, when he runs around the room. It's pretty cute!
Mario is way cute, little squeaker ! My big Bandit would squeak when she twisted around to groom herself, like a balloon when it's twisted. She screamed once too, it was the worst, she had a bad disc and tipped over......
LOL. Very cute!! My rabbit Jasper would whine alot and stop her feet!
It's fun to be in The House of Rabbits when no other sounds are heard. All the little bunny sounds ... grunts, squeaks, coos, scritches, ....
For the 1/2 ... yes. Start slow and ease off .. that is my strategy.
Oh, I can only watch this when I get home from work!! Can't put the speakers on here, I'm supposed to be working and not surfing bunny blogs, LOL!!
Hans makes little noises when I pet him.. I don't know how to describe it, sounds a little like a pigeon coo-ing. I really must get a video of it!!

Patch makes lots of grunting noises. Mostly when I'm too slow in dishing out the treats. He's by far the noisiest bun I've ever had!
You go, Mario! Those are the sounds of a happy bun!
How cute! I think he's quieter than my fish which splash about often and sometimes hit the aquarium hood (cover), making a loud noise.
